Heaven

If this isn’t Heaven, it ought to be.

Cheap rent, goose down pillows and cable
A pair of fat cats for catching mice
A little girl who never listens, and you.

Cheap rent, goose down pillows and cable
With you is better than everything else without you.
Your little girl never listens, and you
Are too soft-hearted to yell at her.

With you is better than anything without you.
Fighting with you is better than laughing without you.
Anyway, you’re too soft-hearted to yell.
Just ask that pretty little stubborn girl.

Fighting with you is better than laughing without you
All I need in the world is crammed onto a quarter acre.
A very pretty, very stubborn little girl
A 96 Jeep that keeps on running, and you.

All I need in the world is crammed onto a quarter acre:
A pair of fat cats for catching mice
A 96 Jeep that keeps on running, and you.
If this isn’t Heaven, it ought to be.
